Geologist - Urgent

Role Description

 

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Dubai for a Geologist. Responsibilities include conducting fieldwork and collecting geological data, performing logging and geological mapping, and contributing to geophysical studies and analyses. The Geologist will also oversee drilling operations, identify geological features, and prepare detailed reports to support exploratory and operational activities. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams will be integral to success in this role.

 

Qualifications & Responsibilities

 

Min 5 years experience geologist in mining exploration- Indian national is plus.

  • Strong understanding of orogenic/greenstone systems, alteration halos, structural controls, and regolith in tropical/arid terrains
  • Ability to integrate mapping, soil/rock geochemistry, drilling, and geophysics into coherent exploration models and targets.
  • Competence in remote sensing for mineral exploration: reading multispectral/hyperspectral imagery, recognizing alteration minerals and lineaments
  • Operational understanding of drone mapping workflows: flight‑plan design, ground‑control points, overlap, resolution, and familiarity with platforms like UgCS or similar mission‑planning software.
  • Working knowledge (not necessarily operator‑level) of drone‑mounted sensors used in exploration: magnetometers, radiometrics, LiDAR, multispectral/hyperspectral, sometimes VLF‑EM or GPR.
  • Ability to interpret basic geophysical data products (magnetic anomalies, structure trends, radiometric ratios).
  • Good command of GIS (ArcGIS/QGIS) for compiling geology, geochem, geophysics, drone‑derived DEMs, and imagery into exploration layers and target maps.
  • Exposure to 3D geological and resource‑modeling tools
  • Field leadership in remote African settings
  • Experience organising and supervising mapping, sampling, trenching, and drilling in remote camps
  • Comfort with large datasets and cloud workflows: storing, validating, and sharing drone and sensor data with remote geophysicists/data scientists.
  • Ability to translate technical findings into clear drill targets, reports, and decision points for management and investors.

Senior Machine Operator – PP Non-Woven Bag Making Plant

Experience Required: Minimum 10 years in operating PP Non-Woven Bag Making Machines
